Gucci, officially Guccio Gucci S.p.A., is a renowned Italian luxury fashion house based in Florence, Italy. The brand offers a wide range of products, including handbags, clothing, shoes, accessories, and home décor. Gucci also licenses its name to Coty for fragrance and cosmetics under the Gucci Beauty brand.

Founded in Florence in 1921 by Guccio Gucci (1881–1953), the brand gained international recognition under his son, Aldo Gucci, becoming a symbol of the Italian "dolce vita." However, family disputes in the 1980s led to the Gucci family's complete departure from the company's ownership by 1993.

Following this period of turmoil, Gucci experienced a resurgence. In 1999, it became a subsidiary of the French conglomerate PPR, now known as Kering.

As of 2023, Gucci operated 538 stores, employed 20,711 people, and generated €9.9 billion in sales. Stefano Cantino has served as CEO since October 2024, and Sabato De Sarno has been the creative director since January 2023.
