The Ford logo was initially designed for the Ford Motor Company, founded by Henry Ford in 1903. The first logos were more in the Art Nouveau style and did not last very long. Later, the "Ford" script, inspired by Henry Ford's handwriting, began to be used as the logo. In 1912, this script was combined with a bird figure, and a blue bird logo was used for a short time.

In 1927, the oval (ellipse) shaped logo that we are familiar with today emerged. The "Ford" script was placed inside this oval. The color blue has become synonymous with Ford and represents trust, reliability, and quality. The logo was designed by Childe Harold Wills and bears Henry Ford's signature.
